Emily Fitchjarrell officially joined Madison's Police Department on Monday, March 25, 2019 when she was sworn in by Mayor Fred Perriman. Emily graduated from Georgia College and State University in December 2018 with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. She then attended Georgia Police Academy at GPSTC-Forsyth graduating March 2019. Officer Fitchjarrell will start in the Uniform Patrol Division of our Police Department.
