City of Madison Qualifying & Notice of General Election 

Notice is hereby given that a General Election for the City of Madison, Georgia will be held November 2, 2021, for the office(s) of Mayor, City Council District 2, and City Council District 5. The polls will be open on Election Day from 7:00a.m. until 7:00p.m. at the City of Madison Public Safety Building, 160 N. Main Street, Madison GA 30650. 

Qualifying for said election will be held at the Morgan County Board of Elections and Registration Office, 237 N. 2nd Street, Madison GA 30650 on the following dates:
August 16, 2021 - August 19, 2021: 8:30am – 4:30pm
August 20, 2021: 8:30am – 12:00pm 

The qualifying fee for Mayor is $306.00. The qualifying fee for City Council is $216.00. 

The last day to register and be eligible to vote in this election is October 4, 2021.

If there is a need for a runoff election, the date of this election will be November 30, 2021.
