Madison Fest features solutions for
Madison Fest Materials
living a considered and "greener" life. This free day-long festival (10 am–4 pm) in Town Park features: amazing plants for sale, handmade arts and crafts for buying and browsing, great live music, and a great day for the whole family.

The day’s activities include: 
A plant sale.  Plant vendors will be on hand to help you select plants to stand up to southeastern heat and humidity for your flower, fruit, and vegetable gardens.
Learn About Backyard Beekeeping. Talk about beekeeping basics with a certified beekeeper–perfect for the back yard hobby beekeeper or someone just get started in beekeeping. Info includes sourcing and management for a backyard setting.
Hands-on Pruning. A quick explanation and demonstration of when and how to prune an assortment of potted shrubs and perennials.
A Kids Craft Workshop. Kids will craft with our friends from the Painted Pineapple, drop in anytime. 

An Arts & Crafts sale.
  Artists and crafters will bring their items to Town Park to demonstrate and sell the highest quality of handmade jewelry, furniture, clothing, home décor, and more.
Safe Solar Viewing. Let the Charlie Elliott Astronomy Club show you 'the ropes' for safe solar viewing.
Yoga & Qigong Demonstrations. Watch or join in on the Pavilion stage, then learn about the wide ranging physical benefits of each practice under the Wellness Tent.
Knitting 1(oh!)1. Have fun and learn the basics of knitting. Supplies are included in the cost–including 100% Alpaca wool from Mystic Mountain Alpaca Farm in Covington. $20 per person for a two hour beginners lesson. Class size is limited, knitters must sign up beforehand for the morning or afternoon session, call (706) 342-1251 x208

Plus, enjoy great live music all day long under the Children's Garden Music Tent. (see right)
