Ghosts, Goblins, and Superheros of all shapes and sizes will soon be haunting Town Park. On Halloween this year costumed trick-or-treaters up to age 12 and costumed pets on leashes – along with their families – are invited to join us for a free parade in and around the park. Marchers in the parade need to gather at 4:00 – the parade will begin at 4:15! Wagons are welcome for tiny tots. Prizes will be awarded for exceptional kid (and critter) costumes.
The hair-raising sounds of the Hobohemians Band will lead the parade. Fire Trucks and Police Cars will be on site for all the kids to crawl through. The City of Madison Police and Firefighters will be grilling ghoulish grub (hallo-weiners!) for all to enjoy. Community organization will hand out treat bags will be handed out to the first kids.
