Historic Preservation Commission Meeting Documents - HPC 08-20-2019 Lot 19 Foster Park COA application v2 with call out dimensions updated 8-20-19

Brief Description - Approved.The following conditions, clarifications, or changes to the submitted application were noted in the approval: 1) the garage ell will: a. be extended to fully beyond the termination of the main gable so that the garage doors may be located at a distance from the termination equal to or greater than the distance between the garage door and the end the the ell; and b. will not have false strap hinges; 2) the front dormer will be executed as shown in the rendering provided at conceptual review; 3) the foundation will: a. have a height of 18”- 24” and may taper to the rear, and b. will use thin brick or stucco; 4) the siding exposure will be 51/4”; 5) the paired windows on the side elevations will be centered on the gable ridge above; 6) the metal roof color will be staff approved; 7) the eaves will terminate in a return or an open rake rather then “pork chops’; and 8) the porch slab will extend 1”-2” over the foundation.
