In Madison's Town Park, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Ghosts, goblins, and superheroes of all shapes and sizes will soon be haunting Town Park. On Halloween this year, costumed trick-or-treaters up to age 13 and costumed pets on leashes–along with their families–are invited to join us for a free parade in and around the park. Marchers in the parade should line up at the Pavilion at 4:00–the parade is scheduled to begin at 4:15. Wagons are welcome for tiny tots. Prizes will be awarded for exceptional kid (and critter) costumes.
The hair-raising sounds of a live band will lead the parade. Community organizations and businesses will provide treats for paraders while they last. A limited number of safety treat bags will be handed out to the first kids.
Fire trucks and police cars will be on site for all the kids to check out after the parade. The City of Madison Police and Firefighters will be grilling ghoulish grub (hallo-wieners!) for all to enjoy.
