Public-Private Partnership

Within the Urban Redevelopment Area, the Downtown Development Authority of Madison (DDA) proactively and implements programs/projects bringing renewal to areas of disinvestment and incentivizing private investment. The DDA works independently, seeks partnerships, and invites development agreements with parties interested in urban redevelopment.

The AnchorageWellington Area Redevelopment Concept, 2011

The DDA is encouraging the redevelopment of a stalled subdivision into a diverse neotraditional neighborhood.
The concept explores a mixture of housing options within one neighborhood, while creating additional street and sidewalk connectivity and allowing for the recreation of a commercial corridor flanking the railroad.
